2025 News & Documentary Emmy Awards: Full List of Winners Revealed

The 46th annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards has announced its first winners, focusing on the News categories during a ceremony held at Palladium Times Square in New York City. The event precedes the Documentary Awards, which will be presented Thursday night.
This year’s awards cover 67 categories featuring programming content that premiered throughout 2024. Both events are streamed live via the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ platform, available at watch.theemmys.tv and through Emmy apps, starting at 7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. PT.
Al Roker, a celebrated figure from Today, was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his broadcast journalism career. On Thursday, Jon H. Else will receive a similar honor for his contributions to documentary filmmaking.
