Another lawsuit has been filed against Sean “Diddy” Combs!
Just hours after it was revealed a partial verdict was reached in the 55-year-old’s federal trial, a new lawsuit was filed Tuesday night (July 1) in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Former model and actor Edmond Laurent has filed a $10 million suit against Diddy and several others on charges of “assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence, sexual battery, civil conspiracy, and aiding and abetting,” according to Variety.
Details of the Allegations
In the suit, Edmond lays out a series of alleged incidents that took place in the late 2000s at luxury hotels in the Los Angeles area, including The Intercontinental in Century City, SLS in Beverly Hills, and the Mondrian in West Hollywood.
The plaintiff claims he was “drugged and raped by Combs and a mystery woman, who purposefully punctured a condom with her nails and exposed the plaintiff to a sexually transmitted infection, leading to severe health issues including stomach cancer as a result of the alleged abuse.”
According to the complaint, Edmond, who also worked as an exotic dancer named “Islander,” was “highly sought after” for music videos with Tupac, Dr. Dre, Britney Spears, Lil Kim, Tamia, and other prominent artists.
The First Encounter
The first incident with Diddy began when Edmond was booked for a bachelorette party at an LA hotel, where he arrived to find a man and woman in masks wanting a private dance.
“Seeing nothing wrong with the request, Plaintiff proceeded to perform. After the performance, he was paid and left,” the lawsuit states, revealing that the man was Diddy.
The woman allegedly called a few days later for another private performance, and after dancing, he was propositioned for intercourse with her. He claims Diddy remarked on how much pleasure he derived from watching another man ‘f–k’ his girl.

He agreed and put on a condom, engaging with the woman and earning an additional $1,000 for the act. The woman reportedly continued to contact him for another encounter, where he was offered a drink but declined after tasting it. He was also offered various drugs, which he declined.
After being pressured to get on the same level as the defendants, Edmond reluctantly obliged.
The plaintiff stated it was months before he was propositioned by the woman again, with other encounters listed in the suit.
Legal Representation and Statements
Edmond is represented by Rodney Diggs and Tyrone Blackburn, who are also representing another client with a lawsuit against Diddy.
“This lawsuit is not just about seeking justice for one man — it is about holding powerful individuals accountable when they use their influence to exploit, degrade, and destroy lives behind closed doors,” Rodney Diggs shared in a statement to Variety. “For years, Mr. Laurent suffered in silence — his career, body, and spirit irreparably damaged by the trauma he endured. Today, that silence ends. No amount of fame, fortune, or intimidation should shield anyone from being held responsible for their actions.”
In addition to Diddy, the Jane Doe and nine others, the suit also holds the hotels accountable where the alleged incidents occurred.
“Housekeeping observed large quantities of baby oil and drug paraphernalia, yet management ordered immediate clean-up rather than investigation,” the complaint states. “Security logs show multiple noise complaints and reports of physical altercations — but no incident reports were filed with law enforcement.”
Just last week, another man filed a lawsuit against Diddy for an alleged sexual assault taking place in 2021 at a party.
