Imagen Awards 2025: John Leguizamo, Liza Colón-Zayas, Benjamin Bratt Among Honorees

The 40th Imagen Awards celebrated Latino excellence across film, television, music, and streaming, recognizing outstanding talent and projects that highlight Latino voices and stories. The ceremony honored 27 categories and will air on PBS, October 1 during Hispanic Heritage Month.

The Imagen President’s Award went to Gustavo Dudamel, celebrated composer and music director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, for his contributions to music and his mentorship of youth through YOLA (Youth Orchestra Los Angeles).

The Norman Lear Writer’s Award was presented to Dailyn Rodriguez, showrunner of The Lincoln Lawyer, recognized for her influential work across series like Queen of the South and Ugly Betty.
