Suge Knight Says Diddy Should Be Acquitted in Sex Trafficking Trial

Suge Knight, co-founder of Death Row Records, spoke from prison on NewsNation’s Cuomo about the ongoing sex trafficking trial involving hip-hop mogul Diddy, asserting that despite their personal differences, Diddy should “definitely walk free.”
Knight acknowledged that he and Diddy are “not friends,” but firmly stated, “Puffy should definitely walk.”
He also criticized key witness Capricorn Clark, Diddy’s former assistant, who testified during the trial. Knight recounted a past incident involving Capricorn and Reggie Wright Jr., alleging coercion and manipulation within their circle.
According to Knight, Capricorn was pressured by Wright to repay a broken windshield by “having sex with him,” which she initially resisted. He claimed that several executives close to Diddy were involved, but only Capricorn took the stand, which Knight described as a “sad day for hip hop.”
Knight also mentioned that Capricorn received a $1 million check from Interscope Records as part of a confidentiality agreement, which she misunderstood as a non-taxable settlement, leading to further complications.
Regarding Capricorn’s credibility, Knight stated that during a visit to New York, he personally spent time with Capricorn and another woman, which made him question the extent of her fear toward Diddy.
He emphasized that other key individuals connected to Diddy and Death Row were not called to testify, and suggested that the law should be impartial and not rush to judgment.
Knight also highlighted the complex relationships between Death Row and Bad Boy Records, noting friendships between key security figures and industry executives, underscoring the intricate dynamics involved in the case.
In conclusion, Suge Knight reiterated, “He and I are not friends, but Puffy should definitely walk. What’s right is right, wrong is wrong.”
