Colin from Accounts Season 3 Set for January 2026 Production, Harriet Dyer Confirms

Fans of Colin from Accounts can finally breathe a sigh of relief—Season 3 is officially on the way. Series co-creator and star Harriet Dyer confirmed that production on the hit Australian comedy will begin in January 2026, despite her busy schedule with other projects.

Dyer, who created the series with her husband Patrick Brammall, shared the update during a press event for her new CBS comedy DMV, premiering October 13. “Colin‘s gonna go into production in January. I’ve cloned myself and will happily fulfill that situation,” she joked, underscoring her determination to keep both projects moving.

Since its debut, Colin from Accounts has become one of the standout international comedy exports, praised for its offbeat humor and heartfelt storytelling. Dyer and Brammall not only star as Ashley Molden and Gordon, but also serve as the show’s writers, producers, and creative driving force. The couple’s collaboration has been central to the show’s success, which first hooked audiences with the now-iconic meet-cute: Ashley flashing Gordon, leading to him accidentally running over a stray dog—Colin.

Meanwhile, Brammall has been working on feature projects including The Devil Wears Prada 2 and The Dispatcher. Even Zak, one of the border terriers who plays Colin, has been keeping busy thanks to the show’s growing popularity.

As for Dyer’s upcoming project DMV, the workplace comedy is based on a short story by Katherine Heiny and produced by Dana Klein. It stars Tim Meadows, Molly Kearney, Alex Tarrant, Tony Cavalero, and Gigi Zumbado, with Randall Park guest-starring as a rival DMV branch manager. Dyer plays Colette, whose awkward encounters and comedic timing continue her streak of fearless, physical comedy.

Fans of Colin from Accounts won’t have to wait too much longer for new episodes, as Dyer and Brammall prepare to return to production in early 2026. With its blend of sharp writing, quirky romance, and authentic humor, Season 3 is shaping up to deliver more of what made the series a breakout hit.
