The Locarno Film Festival is set to showcase an impressive lineup of new works in its Pardi di Domani competition, featuring talented filmmakers from around the globe.
Locarno Film Festival 2025: New Works in Short & Medium Length Competition
Filmmakers Neo Sora (Happyend) and Salvatore Mereu (Three-Step Dance) are set to debut their new works as part of the Pardi di Domani competition at this year’s Locarno Film Festival.
The Pardi di Domani competition showcases new short and medium-length films from emerging filmmakers. This year’s edition features 40 world premieres across three competitions and from 25 countries.
Films in the Pardi di Domani competition are eligible for various awards, including the Pardino d’Oro, Pardino d’Argento, Best Direction Award, Medien Patent Verwaltung AG Award, and Best Swiss Newcomer Award.
The 2025 edition of the Locarno Film Festival will take place from 6 to 16 August 2025.
