From Season 4: What’s Next for Tabitha and the Town’s Dark Secrets?

The mystery surrounding From, MGM+’s hit horror drama, continues to deepen as fans eagerly await Season 4. Catalina Sandino Moreno, who stars as Tabitha Matthews, admits she is completely in the dark regarding what’s coming next. “Season 3 ended in a way that opened up so many doors,” she told Gold Derby. “I have no idea where my character is going.”

The secrecy surrounding the show remains tight. Even lead actors like Sandino Moreno are kept out of the loop. “I’ve asked John Griffin, Jack Bender, and Jeff Pinkner for a hint, and they refused. They’re extremely secretive—even during Season 4 production.”

Set in a ghostly, decaying town in Middle America, From tells the chilling story of people mysteriously trapped by a malevolent force. The residents battle terrifying nocturnal creatures while searching for a way to escape. The psychological horror intensifies as characters explore ancient secrets buried within the town—and themselves.

Sandino Moreno, an Oscar nominee for Maria Full of Grace, stars alongside Eion Bailey as her husband Jim, and Lost alum Harold Perrineau, who plays Boyd Stevens, the town’s de facto mayor. The ensemble cast includes Hannah Cheramy, Simon Webster, David Alpay, Elizabeth Saunders, Scott McCord, and Ricky He—each portraying a desperate soul caught in the town’s relentless grip.

The mystery began in Season 1 when the Matthews family entered the town and became trapped. Grieving the death of her youngest child, Tabitha endured terrifying encounters, culminating in a revelation in Season 3 that changed everything. She and Jade (played by David Alpay) are revealed to be reincarnations of Miranda and Christopher—figures from the town’s ancient history who once tried to save its children.

This mythology becomes central to their journey. A pivotal moment occurs when they play a haunting melody on Miranda’s violin, summoning mysterious children dressed in white. They whisper “anghkhooey,” meaning “remember,” unlocking past-life memories that tie Tabitha and Jade to a cycle of sacrifice and redemption.

This connection brings a new emotional depth to their mission. Tabitha even envisions a daughter from their previous life, reinforcing the urgency to end the town’s curse. “They didn’t tell me I was Miranda’s reincarnation,” Sandino Moreno reveals. “That’s why I’m so confused about what’s next.”

The evolving relationship between Tabitha and Jade contrasts with her dynamic with Jim, her logical husband. “Jim tries to rationalize everything,” she explains. “But Jade believes. He sees what she sees. That’s what binds them.”

Following a record-breaking Season 3, From has become one of MGM+’s most successful series, sparking intense online fan theories. Despite widespread speculation, even Sandino Moreno prefers to avoid theorizing. “My son comes up with all these ideas, but I’ve stopped guessing. Whatever you think will happen, you’re probably wrong,” she laughs.

Series creator John Griffin has reportedly planned the entire storyline. “He knows exactly how it ends—every detail about the kids, the stones, and the tree,” Sandino Moreno shares. “But he’s not telling anyone.”

With production of Season 4 set to begin and a 2026 premiere confirmed, the haunting world of From promises even more revelations—and more horror.
