Isaiah “Zae” Frederich Reflects on Dramatic Exit from Big Brother 27 and Game Strategy

Isaiah “Zae” Frederich’s time in the Big Brother 27 house was brief but intense. The 23-year-old rookie clashed with returning legend Rachel Reilly before being evicted in a 9-5 vote, under the reign of HOH Vince Panaro. Despite lasting only one week, Zae remains positive about his experience, acknowledging the fierce competition and expressing gratitude for being selected from thousands of applicants.

Zae candidly admits he was not a fan of Big Brother before entering and initially did not recognize Rachel’s iconic status. “I looked at her as more of a threat,” he explains, emphasizing his bold strategy to confront her early despite the risks. He disagrees with the common fear among players to challenge Rachel, stating, “I thought that was strategically a dumb move.”

Reflecting on his eviction, Zae stands by his decision to target Rachel, believing that his fate was sealed regardless of his moves. He shares confidence that, had he stayed longer, he could have rallied votes and possibly eliminated her. His strategy aimed to highlight Rachel as a bigger threat to sway votes against her rather than himself.

Beyond gameplay, Zae formed meaningful connections, particularly with fellow houseguest Zach Cornell. Their “bromance” was evident, and Zach’s emotional reaction to Zae’s eviction highlighted the bonds built in the house’s intense environment.

Looking ahead, Zae predicts Morgan Pope has strong potential for a deep run, praising her intelligence and strategic play while noting her low-threat perception. He also comments on Keanu Soto’s chaotic game, describing it as “a little sloppy” and predicting his early exit due to stirring too much conflict.

When asked about the current front-runner, Zae picks Rylie Jeffries, admiring his character and believing the grand prize would be life-changing for him.

Following Zae’s eviction, Jimmy Heagarty won the next HOH, a development Zae believes will shift house dynamics and aid Rachel’s faction. He anticipates potential targets this week, including Kelley Jorgensen and possibly Zach.
