Nick Cannon Takes Over Hosting Duties for Lego Masters Season 6 on Fox

Nick Cannon is expanding his partnership with Fox by joining the popular reality competition Lego Masters as the new host for its upcoming sixth season. Cannon, already well-known as the host of Fox’s hit singing competition The Masked Singer, will replace Will Arnett, who is stepping down due to scheduling conflicts after five successful seasons.

Currently, Lego Masters airs its fifth season with Arnett hosting on Mondays at 8 p.m. on Fox, with episodes streaming the following day on Hulu. The show features teams of Lego enthusiasts competing in creative brick-building challenges, pushing the limits of imagination and design. Next week’s episode, titled “Get in Gear,” will challenge the remaining duos to build moving creations incorporating at least two geared elements.

Based on the original British series, Lego Masters showcases pairs of amateur builders competing for a $100,000 cash prize, a grand Lego trophy, and the prestigious title of Lego Masters. The competition emphasizes creativity, storytelling, and technical skill as teams advance through rounds judged by the host and expert brickmasters.

Michael Thorn, President of Fox Television Network, expressed enthusiasm for the new season: “We’re thrilled to bring Lego Masters back for another season. With Nick Cannon bringing fresh energy to the show, the competition enters an exciting new chapter.”

For the first time, season six will feature in-person auditions at Legoland California Resort on June 21 and 22, 2025. Nick Cannon and the brickmasters will be present to evaluate hopeful builders and their custom creations, called MOCs (My Own Creation). Interested applicants must RSVP as space is limited.

Nick Cannon shared his excitement: “I’m a huge fan of Lego Masters. It’s an honor to join the series and host another show with my Fox family. This season promises family fun, passion, and incredible creations. I can’t wait to see the amazing builds and award the big prize to the best team.”

Sharon Levy, CEO of Endemol Shine North America, praised Cannon’s addition: “Nick is a proven entertainer with fantastic rapport. We’re excited to see how his unique style elevates the competition.”
