Nicole Clemens Named VP and Head of International Originals at Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios

Nicole Clemens will join Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios as Vice President and Head of International Originals, starting July 7. She will report directly to Kelly Day, Vice President of Prime Video International.

Clemens, formerly President of Paramount Television Studios, will oversee the regional and production leaders of international originals. Initially, she will work from Amazon MGM Studios’ Culver City headquarters before relocating to Prime Video’s London office. Previously, she served as President of Original Scripted Series for Paramount+.

Before Paramount, Clemens held producing roles at Anonymous Content and key leadership positions at FX Networks as Executive Vice President and Head of Series Development, and at ICM Partners as Partner and Head of the Motion Picture Literary Department.

Paramount TV Studios closed last year amid corporate restructuring as Paramount Global moves to merge with Skydance. Meanwhile, Amazon MGM is undergoing its own changes, with former head Jen Salke recently leaving the company.

Kelly Day’s announcement highlights Clemens’ extensive experience leading global hits such as Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Reacher, and Cross during her tenure at Paramount. Clemens will lead Prime Video’s expanding international originals slate, which produced over 140 series and movies across more than 20 territories last year.

Upcoming highlights under Clemens’ leadership include the third film in Mercedes Ron’s Culpables trilogy (Culpa Nuestra, Spain), new films based on Ron’s Dímelo trilogy, and returning popular series like Maxton Hall (Germany), Red Queen (Spain), and Betty La Fea (Colombia). New projects include Newtopia (Korea), Superboys of Malegaon (India), Graduation Trip: Mallorca (Spain), and Costiera (Italy).

Clemens will oversee a team of international originals leaders across Latin America, Europe, India, and more, ensuring continued growth and investment in global content.
