Roku Unveils Exciting 2025 Holiday Slate Featuring Original Films and Specials with Jessica Alba, Joey McIntyre, and Jordin Sparks

Roku’s 2025 holiday slate will debut later this year, featuring two original films and a special event, including projects starring Jessica Alba, Joey McIntyre, and Jordin Sparks.

Joey McIntyre returns with a sequel to last year’s Jingle Bell Love, titled Jingle Bell Wedding. He stars alongside Michelle Morgan, reprising their roles as Jack Cooper and Jessica McFall, a couple planning their New Year’s Eve wedding. However, a once-in-a-lifetime career opportunity threatens to disrupt their wedding celebrations. McIntyre described the film as “so sweet” and emotionally touching.

The second film, Merry Little Mystery, is a holiday romantic comedy starring two-time Grammy-nominated artist Jordin Sparks and Keon Alexander (The Night Agent). Sparks plays Natasha Maxwell, who tries to keep her identity as the benevolent Secret Santa of a small town a secret while falling in love with a persistent reporter played by Alexander. Sparks also contributed a new original song exclusively for the film.

Jessica Alba teams up with Lizzy Mathis for an all-new Honest Renovations: A Holiday Home Makeover special, where both serve as hosts and executive producers. This special features the renovation of the home of a heroic fire captain who battled the devastating Los Angeles wildfires earlier this year. Alba and Mathis highlighted the importance of the holiday season as a time for bringing people together and creating memories.

These new titles join the previously announced The Great American Baking Show: Celebrity Holiday, returning for its fourth season with a new cast of celebrity bakers. Judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith will be joined by hosts Casey Wilson and the new addition Andrew Rannells.

Jingle Bell Wedding and Merry Little Mystery are produced in collaboration with Incendo, expanding on their partnership from Jingle Bell Love. Executive producers for both films include Graham Ludlow, Kaleigh Kavanagh, and Shari Segal of Incendo. Richard Foster and Chet Fenster from Motion also executive produce Jingle Bell Wedding.

The films are written and directed by accomplished creatives: Jingle Bell Wedding by writers Daren Flam and Stefanie Black, directed by Anne De Léan; Merry Little Mystery by writers Casie Tabanou and Alison Spuck, directed by Caroline Labrèche. Morgan Pichinson and Sabrina Lyall oversee both projects for Roku Originals.

Honest Renovations: A Holiday Home Makeover is produced by 3 Arts Entertainment, MGM Television, Summit House Entertainment, and Rahmath Productions, with Alba, Mathis, and others serving as executive producers. The special is overseen by Olivia LaRoche and Louisa Lenander Friedman on behalf of Roku Originals.
