Justin Alvarado Brown Named Co-CEO of Ridley Scott’s Scott Free Productions Amid Strategic Expansion

EXCLUSIVE – Legendary filmmaker Ridley Scott has appointed Justin Alvarado Brown as co-CEO of Scott Free Productions, solidifying a strategic leadership structure that positions the company for continued global growth in both film and television. Brown will share the role with Luke Scott, who remains based in London, while Brown will operate from Los Angeles.


New Leadership for a New Era

Previously serving as President and COO, Brown now steps into a broader leadership capacity. He will oversee global operations, steer Scott Free’s strategic direction, and manage deal-making across the company’s diverse slate of film, scripted television, and non-scripted content.

His deep experience at the company since 2010, and promotion to COO in 2012 and President in 2021, gives him a unique vantage point as Scott Free navigates new business models and industry transitions.
